This was it! It was the finale of the Personaliti Pilihan Berita Harian 2008 search. It was held at the Legend Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. The make-up artiste & hairstylist team was a great, fun team and besides me Afidah Khamis from Orked Bridal & AP Temerloh were among those in our team. Though the make-up artistes came early, unfortunately we had to wait for the rehearsal so we managed to start the make-up late so at the very end, those who did their make-up late, well of course their make-up did not turn out to be so pretty. So the moral of the story is, if you participate in any competition and you need to use a make-up artiste/hairstylist, try your best to be the first so you'll be cool & ready and that will also give a good impression to the organizer.

Well although only Nik Norhayati  & Fairul Aqillah were the participants that won for the day (Nik won fourth place while Aqillah won Most Captivating Smile Award) out of all the girls I did the make-up today, but 3 of the winners whom I did their make-up for their newspaper articles did win so I was ecstatic for them too. Faezar won the Readers' Choice award, while Fieza the mum of 3 from Ipoh won third place and Aslinda bagged the Champion title for the whole competition.

To sum the whole event of the day, well I enjoyed the great company, great free food (lol) and of  course the light but informative emceeing of Along  & Angah from Raja Lawak. Not to forget, the cool performance by Nubhan of Akademi Fantasia 6. He has great, mesmerizing vocals, unfortunately typical Malaysian audience did not do much effort to appreciate his performance by showing some enthusiasm when he ended his singing. So next time please Malaysian audience, tepuklah sikit, bukan kena bayar pun, tak payah berlagak poyo sangat. :p
