It is always exciting whenever I have the chance to collaborate my make-up work with my bestfriend's photography work.  Mira Zuraika may not be a famous photographer yet but with her in detail work especially on the editing part, insha Allah one day she will be very much well-known.  This time we were hired by the owner of Butik Ratu (Ratu is the Malay translation of Queen) to do a photoshoot for its hijab & brooch collection. These photos will not be published in the newspapers or at the Ratu stores however they are meant for their website.

I was expecting for a professional model for the photoshoot, however the owner Puan Iman (she prefers if I address her as Kak Iman) brought her niece to do the shoot. Therefore since she is not a real model, so the make-up expectation was quite difficult for me since Kak Iman desired a middle-eastern make-up look. Actually the good features of a model will affect the make-up quality however I was lucky enough that she has good clear skin. However Mira's wonders on the editing part made me less worried.

I was responsible to do the styling of the hijabs as well, so basically all of us had fun choosing the hijabs and brooches which match for great photos.  The photoshoot went till midnight since we started around after Maghrib, so all of us were exhausted when we wrapped up.
