    The 'Maybelline Beauty in Me' campaign me gave me numerous exposure in the media. Not only that, I was also given the opportunities in promoting my talent in various local magazines. I am updating my portfolio, and praying hard that I will have bigger jobs in the future insya Allah :)      
       
 
  Outdoor shoot for Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah of Laws (AIKOL),  International Islamic University Malaysia's Mock Trial 2008 : Court Martial               @ Kampung Sungai Pusu, Gombak, Selangor  (Sunday, 10th August 2008)  
 

 

I was again honoured to be chosen as the make-up artiste for my law faculty's mock trial make-up artiste. Actually I was the make-up artiste for the 2006 Mock Trial but in 2007 I was hoping for a role in the Mock Trial, so I didn't do the make-up. Again this year, when my friends encouraged me to try for a role again, I was in the mood to be the make-up artiste again. Supposedly I had to do the make-up for the Mock Trial nights as well, unfortunately I had a terrible fever I only managed to do the make-up for the outdoor shoot.

Mock Trial 2008 was directed by my senior, Brother Izwan Malik. Regarding on this shoot, I had a great co-operative team from AIKOL working with me.  I did the make-up for 3 roles and they were The Accused (Farhan @ Pa'an) , The Abused Mother of the Accused (Iziana Nadia Ismail) & The Abusive/ Drug Addict  Father of the Accused (Saifuddin).

Saifudin or Din is my classmate. He jokingly told me that I didn't have to put much effort in making him look like a villain because he naturally looks like one already :p For this make-up indeed I didn't have to do much just tried to make him look slightly older and a little haggard.
       
 

 

       
       
Iziana Nadia Ismail as The Abused Mother of the Accused

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 I was ecstatic to do the make-up for Iziana or Nana because when we were both in the IIUM's Matriculation Centre a few years back, she played as my cruel, arrogant mother-in-law for AIKOL's Legal Theatre. She is a very talented actor I tell you.

This time, instead of being abusive to others, she became the victim. In this scene, it shows the effects of her being abused by her husband ie Saifuddin.   I also made her looked older to suit her role as a middle-aged woman.

 
       
   
       

 
 
Farhan @ Pa'an as The Accused

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 Pa'an played the main role as the accused, who was mentally tortured due to the continuous abuse of his father on him and his mother. In one scene, when he was about to return home, he was involved in a minor road accident where his armed was a little bruised and scarred.
